Hip-hop heads all around the world still know the name Roc-A-Fella, despite it not actually being a functioning company for over a decade.

Even though the R-O-C closed its doors in 2004, the company started by Kareem "Biggs" Burke, Dame Dash, and JAY-Z is perhaps one of pop culture's most influential forces ever. And because of its cultural impact, as it turns out, the story of Roc-A-Fella may soon be heading to a screen near you.
During a recent interview with REVOLT TV, Burke, who was released from a four-year prison sentence back in 2015, revealed that he is currently working on a movie-adaptation of how the world came to know Roc-A-Fella. This news comes days after fellow-co-founder Dame Dash publicly apologized to both Burke and Jay for years of beef.
As for the premise of the film, Burke mentions that each of the founders will probably have separate stories, showing how each came up and what each went through separately before coming together.
The film has no official production schedule or timeline yet, though Burke has begun being more active in Hollywood of late. He's currently an executive producer on the HBO film O.G. For his part, Dash is being more-and-more known of late for his award-winning independent films. And, well, that third guy who founded Roc-A-Fella has also carved out a pretty nice little career as well.
