Viral 'Duvet Dress Challenge' Has People Wrapping Themselves in Blankets as Clothing

May 6, 2020

With many people stuck at home, some have been struggling not getting dressed to be seen in public each morning.

While some are embracing the home comfort style, others are looking for ways to improve on their at-home look.

This has led to the latest viral challenge, which has people turning their blankets into clothing fashion statements.

The viral “Duvet Dress Challenge” has people sharing photos of their clothing creations using blankets, duvets, comforters and quilts.

The DIY style trend has seen a rise in popularity during the coronavirus, as many are looking to stay trendy while stuck at home.

Some have begun to get creative, even incorporating pillows and toilet paper rolls as must-have handbags.

This latest viral challenge pays homage to another viral challenge, the “Quarantine Pillow Challenge.” That challenge saw people making pillows into dresses.

While this trend may not last after quarantine, at least it’s leading to more comfort while at home.
